Fences alone only do so much and must coexist with gates to be useful and these gates are the choke point being where all traffic must enter or exit. As with fences, gates vary in quality and security. Any complete system is only as strong as the weakest point which makes the choice of gate become important. Installing a high quality fence will have no effect if the gate is not in equal quality or if the gate is left unlocked outside normal work ours.
